  • There is a negative marking feature in the CAT Exam. For every right answer, +3 marks are awarded. For every wrong answer, -1 is deducted.
  • There is no predefined syllabus for the CAT Exam. The exam covers topics from the high school syllabus, which includes basic English grammar, para-summary, para jumbles, reading comprehension passages, arithmetic, number systems, puzzles, graphs, syllogism, seating arrangements etc.
  • Like in other management exams, there is no age bar to apply for the CAT Exam, providing the fact that they fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the administration.
